We can capture these moments in the comfort of your own home, use the beautiful natural light in my Mid-Suffolk studio, or head outdoors to a scenic location. There is absolutely no pressure or uncomfortable posing, just a relaxed focus on raw connection and the quiet love waiting for your baby to arrive.

Little Life

Those first few weeks at home are a beautiful, exhausting blur of sleepless nights and overwhelming love. When your little one arrives, the last thing you should worry about is putting on a performance for a camera.
Whether we gather in the cozy familiar comfort of your own home or use the quiet natural light of my Mid-Suffolk studio, these sessions are kept completely slow, gentle, and low-pressure. There is plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and breaks. We are simply freezing those tiny, fleeting details of your newest love exactly as they are.

1 Hour Family Session

Every stage of family life moves incredibly fast, and these sessions are designed to simply pause time and capture your family exactly as you are right now. Whether you want the gallery to focus entirely on your children, bring the parents into the frame, or make it a complete free-for-all where everyone joins in on the fun, the choice is entirely yours.
We can tailor the day to whatever feels most natural for your routine. We can settle into the comfort of your own home, utilize my Mid-Suffolk studio, or head out to a beautiful outdoor location with plenty of space to have fun, play, and just capture memories together.

The Full Motherhood Collection
From bump to baby
Collection of 45 photos - £275
This collection is for the mothers that would love to capture all the wonderful memories of becoming. The collection is split in two parts:
- Part 1: We have a 45-minute relaxed maternity session in my studio based in Mid-Suffolk.
- Part 2: Once your baby is here, we do a slow 90-minute newborn session. To keep things entirely stress-free, you can either come back to the studio or I can come directly to your home.

This option is a completely blank canvas for families and individuals who want extra time, a larger gallery of images, or would like me to come document a holiday or celebration. We will collaborate to build an effortless, tailored itinerary that matches your exact plans.
Please note: All standard portrait sessions include travel expenses within a one-hour driving radius of Stowmarket. For destinations further afield, a custom quote will be crafted for you.
THE EXPERIENCE OF HAVING PHOTOS WITH SANDRA
STEP 1 - Enquiry
You share a little bit about your family and whether you would prefer a cozy home session, a visit to my Mid-Suffolk based studio, or an outdoor location. I’ll check my availability and follow up with everything you need to start tailoring your custom collection.
STEP 2 - Connection
We will set up a quick, relaxed chat to talk through your ideas, focus on what you want out of the session, and go over any worries you might have about your little ones or yourself being on camera. It’s just a simple way to make sure everyone feels completely comfortable and ready to have fun.
STEP 3 - Security
Once your customized quote is ready and our schedules align, you can officially lock your session into my diary with a £40 booking deposit. I’ll also send over a simple comfortability questionnaire where you are in total control of your privacy, letting you decide exactly how comfortable you are with sharing photos of your little ones' faces online. Your remaining balance will simply be due two weeks before our session date.
STEP 4 - Show up, and let me take it from there
On the day, you don't have to worry about a thing. My goal is just to let everyone relax and be themselves while I capture your family naturally. You get to focus entirely on enjoying your time together, and I will handle the rest.
You will receive your gallery in an
email by 2 weeks
(3 weeks for months between June and August).
A little honesty before we begin
While my goal is always a relaxed and natural shoot, I do want to be completely
open about how I work so there are no surprises:
- Gentle Direction: I won’t leave you standing there wondering what to do. I will absolutely step in with gentle prompts and poses to help you all feel comfortable and look your best.
- What to Wear: To keep the focus entirely on your family, please avoid bright neon colours, large logos, or aggressive patterns. Earthy tones, neutrals, and subtle textures photograph beautifully.
- The Little Details: My lens catches everything, including the reality of daily life! Because we will be capturing close-up interactions and hands holding, keep in mind that things like chipped nail polish or dirty fingernails will be on display. A quick tidy-up before the day makes a world of difference.
SOME SPECIFIC QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE
WE'RE SO AWKWARD AND SELF CONSCIOUS ABOUT BEING IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA. WHAT DO WE DO?
Please don't worry. Most people feel exactly the same way. On our shoot, I try and keep stiff posing to an minimum and give you prompts and capture you as you are. If you have specific posed inspiration you want to try, I’m always so happy to be fun and creative together. Otherwise, you can simply relax and trust me to gently guide you whenever it’s needed.
I want to book a newborn shoot, but what if my baby arrives late or early?
Please don't worry, this happens almost every single time. I typically pencil in newborn sessions for about two weeks after your due date, but I always keep several free mornings open around that window specifically to accommodate early or late arrivals.
I rarely end up shooting a newborn session on the exact date we originally booked, so as soon as your baby makes their appearance, just send me a quick message and we will adjust the date seamlessly.
It is also worth noting that babies can be beautifully photographed at absolutely any age. If your baby arrives and you feel you need a few extra weeks to settle into your new routine at home before stepping in front of a lens, there is no pressure at all. We will simply capture them whenever you feel completely ready.
Can we reschedule if we're ill or the weather is bad?
Absolutely. If anyone is feeling unwell, or if the British weather completely drops the ball, we can definitely reschedule. While I can't always guarantee a spot in the immediate future due to my busy diary, your booking deposit remains completely secure, and we will find a new date that works for us both.
Do you do styled shoots or use props?
My style is minimalistic and natural, so I don't use heavy props or complex setups. I have a few cozy blankets in my studio, but that is about it!
However, you are always more than welcome to bring your own special heirloom items or toys to incorporate into your session. The only exception is my Christmas mini studio sessions, which I do love to style with a bit of festive warmth. Otherwise, the focus is entirely on your family, just as you are.
How far ahead of time should I book you?
Ideally, it is best to get in touch as soon as you know you would like to book a session. While I always pride myself on being as flexible as possible with my diary, weekends and summer slots tend to fill up very quickly. Booking early simply ensures you get first choice of dates before the busy seasons arrive.
I do not want my childrens faces online, can you accommodate for that?
Absolutely. Your family’s privacy and comfort is important to me. I never share images of your little ones’ faces online without your explicit permission. You are in complete control of how your memories are handled, and I always give my clients the choice to keep their entire collection completely private and out of my online portfolio.
What should I wear when being photographed?
To keep the focus entirely on your family, I recommend avoiding bright neon colours, large logos, or aggressive contrasty patterns. Earthy tones, soft neutrals, and subtle textures photograph beautifully together.
Just dress in something that makes you feel completely comfortable and like yourself.
how quickly can we see our photos?
I tend to deliver family galleries promptly if I'm not too busy. But my general turnaround is 2 weeks (3 weeks between June and August).
After we have gotten our photos, can we ask for any changes to them?
Sure, within 6 months after your gallery has been delivered, you can ask me about getting full resolution for printing a specific big photo, a few extra B&W copies or colored photos. Within reason, that is.
Do you have a wardrobe for maternity sessions?
I have a few flowy dresses in my studio, but otherwise, I don't maintain a full client wardrobe. I firmly believe that everyone has their own unique shape, size, and personal style, so you will always feel the most confident in clothes that you have chosen for yourself and know you love.

CAN I SUGGEST PHOTOS THAT I WANT YOU TO TAKE?
Absolutely! I love it when you have ideas and show me inspiration for photos that you like. That best shows me how I can make sure you get everything you want. As long as I feel like it somewhat resonates with my style, then I am more than happy to get creative and have some fun!
Can you give me photos that haven't been edited?
Unfortunately, photos that haven't been edited are simply an unfinished product that I will not deliver. And I'm not sure I know of any other professional photographer that would do that.
